It's been a long while since we last heard from the Awesomap team, so we were surprised to see their app for iOS finally make an appearance. As far as we know, they've been working on a map-reducing update for some time, but this time it's the main changes that caught our attention. For starters, they're making their map more compact, so you'll be able to display four times more of it at once. Not only that, the view is also now zoomed in, so you can see the names and points of interest in more detail. It's also optimized for users with fast Wi-Fi connections, as it uses four times more data to display the map.
